To be fair Sasuke does seem to care (as a fellow squad member), like when he told Naruto to protect Sakura at all cost, or when he wakes up during Chunin Exam. Not love, but it does show Sasuke was trying to understand her.

I know Sakura was worried about Sasuke but she did not even ask Naruto how he is as they met after a long time. When she hugged Sasuke, Naruto got an idea of how important Sasuke is for Sakura, I liked that he left the room showing some courtesy.

This episode is the reason why naruto let go even trying to come near sakura with feelings.
Some more eps will come. Naruto understands the difference between sakura's feelings for sasuke and for him.

wow, I just realized this is a nod to Bruce lee breaking his back and being told to never fight again, that's so good, wth this is awesome. also bruce lee recovered within a year, after being told he would never walk again from his injury.
